Arabesque position is sliding one leg to the front and lifting the back leg up. The back leg should have no wait put on it. Balance is very important when doing this because it has to weigh out on the standing leg.
We started of with arabesque second position. One thing I mostly need to improve on is my posture and balance because I keep losing my position and falling every time. I find it hard to have a straight posture while doing it as it makes it more harder for me to hold my position.
Also, I need to do more stretches that will help my leg go higher and look more like an arabesque position. The one thing I need to remember the most and do is to get into the habit of pointing my toes.
